Sam has over 15 years clinical experience.
He has published internationally, on the treatment of centrally mediated neck pain, and has recently had a paper accepted at the 2nd international conference on fascia in Amsterdam.
Sam has a strong interest in the developing field of Pain Medicine, and the insights its' providing into acute and chronic injuries in patients. He regularly attends conferences in this field, covering both mind, and body approaches to the treatment of pain.
Over the last 15 years Sam has pursued a wide range of studies in order to better understand the human organism and the role of optimum health in a productive and satisfying life.
Sam has completed qualifications at certificate or diploma level in: Nutrition, Myofascial release, Craniosacral therapy, Counselling, Acupuncture, Dry Needling, Aromatherapy, Sports Medicine, Shiatsu, Remedial massage, and Lymphatic drainage.
Sam's treatment approach begins with education and diagnosis. A treatment plan is then established with an approximate timeline for positive outcomes to be achieved. His patients are encouraged to take ownership of their problems to achieve the best possible outcomes.
Sam treats most musculoskeletal and sports injuries, and some organic conditions. He has a strong interest in TMJ problems, working closely with several dentists. And he also has a long history of treating patients with trauma, scar tissue complications, and compression injuries.
