Shalav Mehta began studying psychology at Sydney University where he completed a Bachelors of Science degree (psychology). Following this he completed a Post Graduate Diploma in Psychology at Macquarie University.
To become a registered psychologist Shalav achieved his Post Graduate Diploma in Social health (also known as applied psychology).
Shalav’s knowledge was further consolidated after doing three years of specialized training in Mindfulness based mind/body Integrative psychology and 1 year of training in Hakomi interpersonal Relationship Psychology.
Shalav applies knowledge gained from completing his Level 1 EMDR Psychotherapy to treat patients who have experienced trauma in their lives. In addition to this Shalav has also completed his Prime Tuning of Cellular Vibrations - Level 3.
Shalav believes that good relationships are vital in assisting one overcome their problems as ‘all healing is healing of relationships’. Through creating a safe and relaxed environment Shalav aims to create a sense of calmness, relief and passion which assists individuals to meet the needs of their current relationships. Ultimately, he aims to help individuals re-negotiate past choices and connect with ones innate wisdom and goodness within.
