I practice in Dry Needling, Remedial Massage, Myofascial Release and Exercise Therapy. I have a special interest in the treatment of Migraines, Tension headaches, and multiple musculoskeletal conditions. I also lecture in Anatomy and Physiology at the ACNT.

Remedial Massage works by releasing tight restricted tissue (Hypertonic Muscle), associated with poor posture and prolonged periods of working, which ultimately put the musculoskeletal system under stress.

Various tests are commenced prior to treatment to ascertain that the pain and dysfunction is Musculoskeletal related to aid in a more precise treatment protocol.

Dry needling works by placing a solid, filament needle into a muscle which has become tight or Hypertonic due to high demands being placed onto the muscle, in response to the needling the muscle goes into a more relaxed state.

Dry Needling is also used to differentiate the term needling in a Western physiological philosophy from the term needling in an Eastern philosophy which is known as Acupuncture.
